Information you provide to me directly:

I ask for certain information such as your name and e-mail address when you sign up for my newsletter or general email communications. I may also retain any messages you send via email or web form. I use this information to communicate with you after sign up.

I may receive information about you from third parties that you opted in to share your information with on my behalf, such as Instafreebie.com or Bookfunnel.com or in the instance of a blog tour.  

I may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools and services, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for this blog and my newsletters. These tools collect anonymous information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit. I collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user.

I will not rent or sell your information into third parties.

How I Store and Protect Your Information

Storage and Processing:

Your information collected through newsletter sign up is stored securely with a reputable email service for the sole purpose of newsletter distribution or with my email provider.  

In the event that any information under my control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, I will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Your Choices about Your Information

You may opt-out or unsubscribe from communications with me at any time.  If communication is required in response to an inquiry, contest entry or other reader initiated communication, I will respond for that sole purpose only.

Following un-subscription I may retain your private profile information for a commercially reasonable time for audit purposes to ensure your information is kept removed from my mailing list.

Children’s Privacy

I take the protection of children seriously and employ reasonable measures to prevent individuals under the age of 18 years old from entering my website or joining my mailing list. I do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register for mailings. My content is not directed at children under the age of 18. In the event that I learn that I have collected personal information from a child under age 18, I will delete that information as quickly as possible.
